Dreams of a Sleeping Dragon

For more than a year, people have been protesting in front of the Georgian parliament against the autocratic regime. One of them is the twelve-year-old Aguna, hopping around on the streets, dreaming big.

Synopsis
For more than a year, people have been protesting every evening in front of the Georgian parliament against the autocratic regime of the ruling party »Georgian Dream«. A community without leadership, united by the hope for a future in Europe and the independence from Russia, but divided on how to get there. While the government tries to keep the protesters under control with police violence, heavy fines, and pressure on the judiciary, the protesters call out the names of political prisoners every evening. One of the demonstrators is the twelve-year-old Aguna, roaming the protest ground on his own. The story of a child whose childhood is taken away by adult – and who therefore declares himself an adult. A claim Aguna will not let anyone take away from him.
